In leu of recent events...
Yeah yeah yeah...I'm sure you thought I was going to talk about certain events that may or may not pertain to this wonderful country of ours. Well...I'm not. I'm going to comment on just how great life is right here and now.
Life is good.
Fact.
It takes a while for us (humans) to fully come to the understanding that life is good. I also think its rather hard to explain why this is. Perhaps this is an opportunity where I can attempt to explain further.
NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS
God is God
I am me
Right is Right
Wrong is wrong
Music plays
Dreams come true
Justice is Justice
The sky is blue
Love is alive
Birds will sing
The Sun will see another day
It's easy for me (and people in general) to find ourselves lost when something seemingly so bad happens. Fact of the matter is...the world goes on. Despite all its problems and failings the world is a beautiful place with beautiful people in it. Opportunity still knocks. Let her in. I guess what I'm really getting at...is just be content. Go on with life...enjoy it! Work is not everything. School is not everything. (insert cares, burdens, or worries here) is not everything. Life is good.
Maybe none of this makes any sense. Maybe it's not supposed to, but it's my blog...and I do what I want.
And that's my life...up until now

So It Begins...
Welcome to my world or something like that. I'm not much of a writer...or so it seems. Guess we'll find out about that. This is my life...you'll all be getting the great little here and there details, and hopefully a few good stories. I say we just start with some straight up life or death issues.
I almost died today...
How you say? Two words...blue...minivan. Perhaps its just me, but last time I checked pedestrians have the right of way. So there I was minding my own business crossing the street, and this elderly gentleman begins to speed through a left turn on yellow. Now I know exactly what he was thinking, "oh crap...its yellow...I need to go faster." Little did this gentleman know that I was walking across the street directly in front of his motor carriage. Breaks squealed, lives flashed, squirrels cringed, and old men yelled. All in all, it was quite a frightening experience. So next time you cross the street keep and eye out for grandpa and his blue minivan.
And that's my life...up until now...
